The Secretary-General of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) of Nigeria, Barrister Musa-Lawal Ozigi, has been reportedly killed after terrorists attacked an Abuja-Kaduna train.
Scores of passengers have been declared missing while others are receiving treatment at the hospital since the train attack.
Bandits, already declared terrorists, used Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) to stop the train and shot sporadically, killing an unspecified number of persons and injuring many.
“Ozigi, a barrister, was killed by the bandits during the attack. We just received the information,” a source told SaharaReporters.
Meanwhile, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, during a visit to the scene of the Abuja-Kaduna train attack, ordered the troops and other security agencies to intensify their search and rescue for kidnapped victims.
